Avatar bato of the water tribe4/10/2023 She just said “i’m with you Sokka” and in this scene it’s just “you’re right”. Katara doesn’t really voice her opinion on the matter in this episode. They hear a sad wolf and decide to go help Aang. “I’m an idiot Momo” he realizes what he has done. But still we saw Aang is very important to her. She really wants to see her dad and doesn’t like what Aang did. I’m guessing she has mixed feelings here. Katara likes that Aang is an honorary member of the water tribe.Īang confesses and Sokka gets very angry at him. This wave is quite big! She has already improved quite a lot in her bending at this point. Sokka tells her to waterbend a wave for them to sail on. Katara notices they can’t make it through anymore. I still agree they seem OOC in this episode for giving such little attention to Aang. Still, even as a friend of him it’s strange she didn’t notice him leaving. “Hey Aang, I didn’t notice you left”… if Katara would have romantic feelings for Aang at this point I feel like she would be far more aware of him. So it seems kind of mean of him to not tell the information. But on the other hand, he knows as well how much they would like to see their father. He doesn’t want to lose them and he greatly values their support. It’s understandable, given how Katara and Sokka are his only friends he know. So Katara was 12 when the men of the tribe left.Īang leaves and doesn’t hear Sokka say they have to take Aang to the north pole first.Īang gets the map that was meant for Bato. It’s been two years since they saw him, Sokka says. Her scent is purple to the Shirshu.īato tells Katara and Sokka can see their dad again if they wait for a message. Zuko wants to track the Gaang using Katara’s necklace. “Bato, it looks like home!” cool to see these are the kind of interiors that Sokka and Katara grew up in.Īang is being ignored and starts playing with the animal mask. Hakoda, Sokka and Katara’s father shares the same wit, says Bato. He invites them over to his resting place, an Abbey. Sokka and Katara learn that Bato got left behind because of his injuries. We don’t really know Bato, but I already think it’s weird that he doesn’t acknowledge Aang, or that Sokka and Katara don’t introduce him properly. “Hi, i’m Aang” Bato just ignores Aang… I agree with criticism of Airspeed prime and Fanalysis that the characters in this episode feel a bit out of character. Sokka and Katara are very excited to spot a southern watertribe boat at the shore.īato is very tall! Would Katara’s lover of whom she dreams be this tall? They discover there was a battle between watertribe and firenation people. Missed the previous episodes? They are still available in the archive!Ĭlick on “Keep reading” to begin this episode.
